My cover of "Ties That Bind" by Alter Bridge, from their 2007 album Blackbird. This song is a beast. Tuning a whole step down from standard.

@92796Apollo Mark uses a skinny top/heavy bottom set of strings. (the brand escapes me...but I use Ernie Balls). The 3 high strings are from 10's (.010, .013, .017)...and the lower three are from 11's (.030, .042, .052). On his DVD he said he gets both 10's and 11's and makes his own set, which is silly, because several top brands sell that EXACT configuration. Great for that heavy, chunky bottom, with crisp, bendable highs. Cuz let's face it, 10's are THAT much easier to bend, hahaha!
