i disagree. Why would he continue to play at the beginning of the season if he told the media his knee was not "right"? Your opinion would sound better if he had gotten this surgery before the season started. His doctor even told him that he might not be completely healthy after the minor one he had after the 08 season but yet he wanted to do what he could to play at the beginning. Ultimately, it might've been better if he had undergone the microfracture surgery last year...

Houston will win a championship if they hang on to mcgrady for 010 season because thats all this team needs a scorer and diffrence maker like t mac when healthy he is a top ten player in this leauge Rockets just need to be patient with him and hold on to the roster they have this year like ron artest, scola, battier, brooks, wafer, landry, lowry, yao, mcgrady,chuck hayes, dorsey, barry and white. that should be the rockets roster for 010 and if they stay healthy i think they will win it all.
