I'm going to answer you about why do Muslims straight the line while praying: This is the ritual worship of praying as preached by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It symbolizes that Muslims should be disciplened, they should be supporting each other shoulder to shoulder, and that they should be following their leader (in what is not against God commands and/or His prophet Muhammad guides).
