Stillness is Overrated

Travel for the sake of moving. Shot entirely with a Nokia N73 phone, edited on a Mac.

Geography: waiting on a motorcycle taxi in Bangkok traffic, waiting in the rain in a Calcutta taxi, on board the Bangalore-Guwahati Express, busker on the Saraighat Express, demonstration that Reliance Wireless coverage works even on a moving train (man came on board with wireless phone offering to let passengers make phone calls.. that was the only thing he was selling. Wireless phone calls. Can you believe that?), pulling into Howrah station (Kolkata) at 8am after a 36 hour train ride, crossing the Hooghly, bus number 46 from Free School Street to Ultadanga, crazy techno in the rickshaw going to the Bangladeshi High Commission in Park Circus and Peter being crazier, driving from Shillong to Cherrapunjee in the swirling rain on a hairpin road, almost dying again and again on that road, in awe of the stillness of the clouds from Green Rock Ranch, in awe of the view from outside my bedroom in Cherrapunjee. Can you tell why I love travelling so?
