Baby Face (silicon version) Fuzz Face clone by Manlay Sound. Jimi Hendrix tones.

The new baby is born: the Baby Face is Manlay Sounds version of the the classic Arbiter Fuzz Face, the legendary fuzz box used by Jimi Hendrix and others. Transistors are hand selected and tested for optimum sound. This baby screams and cries as a great Fuzz Face from its era should but It will also clean up with the guitars' volume potentiometer really nicely. In conjunction with the wah pedal the sound will be reminiscent of the late Jimi Hendrix sounds at Woodstock or Isle of Wight even when I play through a small clean combo instead of two loud Marshalls.

awesome. the combination wah+fuzz tone is really close to hendrix, reminds me of some moments of the albert hall concerts. Its really hard to get that clean, transparent wah tone with a fuzzface on. great demo too. The hendrix "standard" fuzzface tone is not that difficult to achieve, tho. Any good fuzzface or FF clone will do it.
