  • not sure if you just didn't include them, but you should be doing 3 warm up sets for each exercise. Also make sure to keep your elbows in front of the bar when its on your chest when doing overhead press

  • nice squatting technique! keep up the good work man!

  • dude deadlift is wrong you need to lean further forward so make the angle smaller. if that makes any sense lol

Actually it depends which 5X5 program he is using. You are using the same one as me (Madcow) and is more effective In my opinion aswell. But if you are a beginner to weights this program will help build it up faster at first. :)

  • yuriya can you please check my video and check my form? thank you.

  • For the stronglifts 5 x 5 method, after your warmup, you use the same weight for all 5 sets. The goal is to add 5lbs each workout. Do not increase the weight after each set, but each workout.

You can download a 12 week sample workout at the stronglifts site

Under "popular training programs" click on stronglifts 5 x 5.

  • “5x5” means you do 5 sets of 5 repetitions each, with each successive set heavier than the last. For instance, for the barbell bench press you might start with 5 reps at 45 pounds for your first set, and then do 5 reps at 55 pounds, 65 pounds, 75 pounds and 85 pounds. This 5x5 progression is a good compromise between weight and volume, and because it gradually increases the load you will be adequately warmed up for the most difficult lifts

  • hey, what is the strong lift routine.. i went to the website and i see 5X5 workout A and workout B.. which one do you do, or do you alternate between them.. i know your supposed to workout 3 days a week right? Please let me know what the routine is thanks!
