Ask that of the Republicans. Ted Stevens indicted on 7 felony charges. GWB lied us into Iraq. McCain was part of Keating 5 and got his wife off drug abuse charges. Republicans are destroying this country and we can't take another four years of it.

Does anyone besides me think that both candidates seem very similar?

The only major difference I can see is that Obama wants to pull out sooner than McCain, although his position is changing on that as well. That and drilling for oil, but neither of them seem to have a clear goal for this issue.

Both men appear sincerely dedicated towards helping America any way they can...

I honestly wouldn't be disappointed with either as the next president.

please try and be rational. obama is a politician just like the others. its a slimy business, but he has the most integrity thats one way of looking at it. the pride that blacks feel is completely warranted given this countr's history of oppression by most white people. in any case most blacks were for hillary, until obama beat her in iowa and they heard his message

This man is MOSTLY talk and is preying on the emotions of this disappointed country. Forget political parties and that silly saying, "It's time for a back man in the presidency" (which is racial politics!) and vote for McCain. We cannot pull out of Iraq just yet, as many people looking for "change" would likd to do, including Barack Obama. This man is dangerous!!
