Tennessee is a state in the southern part of the USA. Nashville is a city in the state of Tennessee and is the place where country music is prominent. There is a hill country where there are small towns and there used to be mines and not much money. The people from there have an accent when they talk or sing that is called country. A lot of country artist tried to sound like they were from that area. Check out Loretta Lynn.
