Comedy Central will never tolerate a Bill Hicks type populist who would call out the left/right puppets for who they are. John Stewart says some bold things here and there, but he is ever the party loyalist. If he wants to keep his job and his weekend home and his wine cellar and his swank vacations, he'll continue to color within the lines, and surround himself with belligerent jack asses like this current stable of writers.
