They think US taxes are high, they ought to have a look at the reams of UK taxes we pay, whats sickening in the UK goes to house/feed/clothe and care for people who have never worked, its not that they CANT work its that they dont WANT to work. This places a vast tax burden on the rest of society. There are famillies with generations on familly members who have NEVER worked,no wonder people swarm from all over the world to the UK,they dont come here for the weather.

why has anything been done yet we need to hop on this and protect in the 100s of thousands

Social Security doesn't exist anymore, and the Nanny-State govt. plans on taking the pension funds from the private sector, were now living in the USSR. Good video, but a little outdated.

Nice :) I've always wanted someone to explain it in this light. Nice job!

I'm not arguing with the point, but I am arguing with the math. I think you would be hard pressed to find 7% interest rate payout. With this said, I am curious about other elements of the math presented here.
The government/FED doesn't deserve to have free reign on our cash, but it's hard to make the argument if the math is faulty.

marcosagostos how is the math "Faulty" ??? just because it may have quoted a high rate for todays times does not make the math "faulty"... math is math.
Compound it at 5% or hell 4% you still will end up with more money!

I think the crisis we're in kind of shows that the free market does not regulate itself. I think all the government money is coming in handy now that the government has to bail out big free market companies.

jorinde85 we do NOT have a free market that is the whole point of the video.
We just have the "illusion" of a free market.
Free markets are not regulated to death by the government or other types of criminials.
