Beder Eddin Koble's Mandolin

A brief clip of my grandfather, Beder Eddin Koble playing Adigha Circassian/Cherkes melodies on the mandolin. Born in Hakwun Nahabla, Adygea, one of the best classical Adigha mandolin players. One of the founders of the Nada Al'Jeel Aljadeed club in Jordan. The baby in the video is me lol. He hoped that his grandchildren would grow up appreciating his culture just as much as he. He passed away October of 2000. It was hard to find more footage of him with photography not as accessible and easy as it is today. I will try and add as much as I can find. Enjoy.

This is so so so so beautiful.

I dont know how to put the way it made me feel.

Raising Adigha kids, passing them the spirit is how we inverst in our future, how we pass the torch to next generations. And this video is a beautiful sample of it...

I hope they never forget who they are as they grow up...
