@emceenicc You are exactly right, while women/mothers are the gatekeepers to children and fathers are regularly kept from seeing their children. Is it any wonder then that fathers simply want to spend time with their children? In my view, if that was the father then this is not even an attempted child abduction, but is the net result of a family that is probably keeping dad from seeing his child, to which he has as much of a right as the mother and more so than anyone other than than mom & dad!
