Thank you for this clip of 26.01.68; I was only six days old at the time so of course I don't remember it, but it is very interesting all the same!

Gonna work on a recon of this some time. I will have to get my mum or GF to do some hand modeling for the GERMS bit at the end :D

Apparently not one single second of All Systems Freeman remains in the BBC Film and Tape Archive, all 13 editions were wiped in the 1970's.

God, this is a rarity, I wonder if it came off the same Phillips CV200 tape, the same one where I saw Reggie Bosenquet reading the news and a 1968 BBC Testcard. I know that tape has been doing the rounds.

The weatherman was Graham Parker (no not the one that was with the Rumour in the late 1970s!)

Hmm...I'm sure that voice was still on BBC1 twenty years later when I were a lad!

Yep, Friday 26th January 1968. Noticeboard I've always suspected was where a lot of the b&w PIFs on Charley Says 2 were originally shown.

Last week of January, presumably, although the Thule Air Base crash happened on the Sunday, not the Monday. And a single frame from a 1968 PIF!

Notice Board.... just seems VERY BBC.
