This is why watching the Winnepg Jets Hotline in the old WHA days was such a privilege! Seeing Hull break away with Hedberg and Nillison right behind him was just crazy. Best damn hockey I'll ever see!!
Fastest player in the league, (not only with the naked eye but per official NHL stats), and by a big margin. And the fastest shot (by far) in the league at 118+ mph, which still has never been equalled.
@royfan3035 you're right, there was Adam Oates! Brett Hull scored 3 70 goal seasons with the help of Oates, including his 86 goal MVP season which is more than anyone not named Wayne ever accomplished, without Oates, his best ever was 58 goals I believe, meaning, he was quite capable of scoring goals on his own but he owes his greatest accomplishments to Oates. Hull called Adam the most underrated player of all time, I'd say it would be hard to argue.

Only three guys were as fast as Bobby Hull - Mike Gartner, Pavel Bure, and Yvan Cournoyer.

All that speed with no ; nitrogen injected ice or took blades. Not to mention a wood stick to shoot with .

I liked Hull because there was no elegance to him, just raw power and speed, and a real strong desire to score goals.

@Canuckfan78 Not only that, but Brett played in an era with better conditioning and still couldn't match it.

Bobby Hull changed the game. He and Mikita introduced curved sticks and Hull brought a new type of speed to the game.
