Kosal Khiev is a Khmer Exiled American (K.E.A.). He was deported to Cambodia in 2011 after serving 14 years in California State Prison and 1 year in an immigration holding facility. He was 16 years old when he was sentenced as an adult.

This is awesome!!! I was thinking about the deportee situation and I realize that it may be an opportunity for some or most people. What I mean is that, many deportees have been away so long that they had to assimilate into mainstream American norms. Now this is a opportunity for deportees to learn how to speak Khmer better and to read and write in Khmer.Also maybe can contribute to the development of the country.
