Thats because he signed a deal with Dean several years ago that basically saved him from going bankrupt! He hasnt used a Gibson once since which is a shame as Michaels sound was all about the Gibson tone, the Dean sound just isnt the same.

michael does seem to be using the dean alot more frquent these days....im an ol school guy...the gibby flying V is the better of the 2...something about a 1950'-60's gibson.
