old footage my father-in-law, Elmer Ames Jr (rip) had taken at his job in Pittsburgh. He did a wonderful job capturing the life of Pittsburgh in the 1950's- the barges, the railroad and the blue collar guys who worked there.

  • The newest car in this video is a 1959 Chevy, which dates this to the fall of 1958 or later. Great video.

  • This footage was shot down in the southside of Pittsburgh,the old brady street bridge can be seen in the back ground.
