...Though I am part of the UPC, :) my association with an organization regardless of when it had "begun" will never determine where we spend eternity.
If HIS word says not to do it... And yet we rebuke Jesus' own words and refuse to obey them then that only shows not only how disconnected we may be but in fact show the minimal love and relationship we have with HIM. We must LOVE and OBEY Him with our whole heart!

This "Doctrine" of the bible includes ALL scriptures within it... "ALL scripture is given by GOD, and is profitable for DOCTRINE, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." The minimal standards on keeping on modesty of apparel in men and women is most definitely in His word.

@heresyexposer Just so you know, It may not be a heaven or hell issue, but the bible DOES say that women shouldnt wear jewelry or cut there hair, and that they should dress modestly.

don't go by what preachers say.. go by what the bible say. To understand the scriptures you have to pray.. and read.. pray and read. so instead of sitting here argueing.. go and meditate in the scriptures!

@ronhanish The doctrine of God does not include does not say women can't cut their hair, that jewelry is wrong, that men cannot wear shorts, etc. This is not the doctrine of God!
