Solo Emeriss

The corruption of the Emerald Dream has come to Azeroth, and someone's got to put a stop to it.

Emeriss is a very difficult solo, the hardest of all of the emerald dragons. The combined effects of the wandering sleep gas, the stacking breath debuff, and Emeriss's unique Corruption of Earth debuff come together to make it very easy to throw the fight away with one mistake.

@K4NGA12o0JU1C3 (Late reply, I've been busy IRL) You have to kite him because he constantly drops green clouds of gas that will sleep you if they catch you. If you get caught by one, they'll keep spawning on you, so you can never escape the sleep unless you Divine Shield. Since you need your Divine Shield for other things on Emeriss, getting caught by the gas on this fight is almost a certain death. If you kite in a circle, though, the gas just never catches you and sticks around in the center.

Emeriss... Had the displeasure and disluck to meet him in Feralas. Because of the lack of space I couldn't kite him away from clouds without hitting mobs. Could have cleared, but it probably wouldn't have worked, thinking of the fast respawn the mobs have

I think Feralas is the worst place to solo a dragon. The tight space can be a real pain.

I don't even bother with Taerar if he's there. If you get unlucky, he'll just boot you into the water and then reset because he's afraid to get his toes wet.

im a lvl 80 feral tank, how do you deal with the "corruption of earth" debuff. it takes 20% of your life every second for 5 seconds. any ideas?

@PresSkroob The clouds last like 2 mins I think so if you get caught at a "lucky" time you can escape it and still recover. happened to me like 3 times the other day when I first tried it :P not sort of thing you can make use of but if you're caught in one don't give up right away because you may get lucky :)
