Rare footage from Manchester City's championship season of 1967/68. It comes from Ken Loach's excellent docudrama 'The Golden Vision.'

The game finished 1-1, Dave Connor scores for City, Ernie Hunt for Everton and Alan Ball misses a penalty but the best part is Malcolm Allison's reaction after the game...

  • That's that actor in the crowd... whadda they call him? And who shot this?

  • @arbutus27 It's probably Bill Dean you're thinking of - Harry Cross in Brookside. It was shot by Ken Loach for "The Golden Vision".

  • What players do you recognise, particularly at 1:49? Can anyone name players/shirt numbers? Who's that Everton coach who groaned in despair when Bawly missed that penaly?

  • @DJAsh65

Because the Goodison crowd had been "throwing missiles" at opposing goalkeepers. The FA had the half circles put in. Not great but hey, Everton are!

  • Why was there that semi circle cut into the terracing behind the goals?

  • mcfc videos - cheers, pal. That's the guy.

  • LOL! Big Mal wasn't happy at the end!

  • Harvey Ball Kendall, Lee, Bell Summerbee.......what an era

  • Good Video
