I was proud to know David "Fathead" Newman casually up here in Woodstock and got to play on a tune or two at his Horn Benefit in the 80's a star studded night like I'd never seen even at the Lone Star Cafe everyone from Jazz and Blues was there..

hi,thankyou very much for posting this gem.had the album back in the 70's but it went awol.between them fathead and dupree play every lick you will ever need.wonderful. could you load drown in my own tears,think its the same album.

the stuff that came from atlantic will never be bettered.
