My name is Brian Artea and this is a quick little review for the Blade mCX and the Spektrum DX6i There's a song at the beginning that I wrote and played all instruments on while I'm flying the mCX that's pretty short then I get on with the review. The link after this sentence is a superb video of how to do make your DX6i function with lots of details. Par 1 of a series of 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dE4KRirDsCY

  • One more thing, I spoke with a tech at Horizon Hobby and he told me when flying the micro helicopters to put it in acro mode instead of heli because it acts more like an airplane and it also fixed a problem I had, when I would go right on my controller the heli went left and that was the fix for it and told me to make all my micro helicopters that are coaxial to acro mode.

  • @BrianArtea When I say Micro Helicopters I mean teh Coaxial ones that don't have a Blade on the back just 2 propellers on top of each other.

  • They won't let me put the link in so let's do it like this: youtube.com/watch?v=PdwkirQqWOc&list=PLE025056146DC9575&index=2&feature=plpp

The URL above is a guy doing a really advanced tutorial. If ou want to really start getting into your DX6i controller go to that URL. It's a series of 4 and I skipped the first one because he's talking about it and not really getting into it until the 2nd vid.

  • Instead of re-inventing the wheel here's a guy that has an excellent advanced tutorial on the DX6i controller. Here's the first link from a tutorial of 4, I stated it off with the 2nd video because he's just not really getting into it until the link below:

  • One more thing I learned the hard way, when your battery starts to run low it may seem as if you need to trim but don't do that because once you put a new battery in it will be trimmed to the way you had it trimmed. That one got me for about a month I was thinking my controller wasn't saving my changes correctly and it was just the battery getting low on the helicopter.

  • I did, that was my first helicopter and I ran it into the wall to hard and messed up the gyro. Plus I was having a hard time flying it because I'm a beginner.

  • You should get the Blade MSR, only cost 99.99 new at Hobby Lobby
