Scoundrels - "Loud N Proud": SXSW 2012 Showcasing Artist

Scoundrels are the first UK signing by legendary A&R man Seymour Stein and Richard Gottehrer (original partners in Sire Records) to the recently revived, classic UK Blues label Blue Horizon (first home to Fleetwood Mac, Chicken Shack and many more). They went to the States to record their debut album and spent 6 weeks in a houseboat on the swamps in Louisiana writing and recording plus a couple of weeks at Electrical Audio in Chicago working with Steve Albini.

The band have a burgeoning fan base in the States with a very successful EP release through noistrade and a US based label, for Scoundrels going to the States feels like a homecoming.

They are about to play their biggest shows to date in the UK when they support The Kooks on their sold out UK tour.

They have just completed recording a new EP with Richard Gottehrer producing that will be given a full worldwide release in March 2012.
