Rebeca Arthur makes a February 21, 1989, special guest appearance on the TV game show about TV, Couch Potatoes, hosted by Marc Summers. Too bad the contestants didn't seem to know a lot about Perfect Strangers!

  • by any chance do you have the rest of the episode?

  • No, I'm sorry but I don't. :(

  • was that bill cullen at the very start of the video?

  • Sitting on the chair? That was Joe Alaskey, the announcer and "neighbor." He appears at the end of the clip as well.

  • The host of Couch Potatoes is Marc SUMMERS, not Marc Summer.

  • Oops, that was a typo. It's fixed now. I had it correct in the tags at least! ;)

  • @boochibabe If there's one thing I hate, it's typos. :-)

  • Thanks for the clip. I wonder what she's doing nowadays.

  • how can u know where balki is from and not know larry's name?

  • That's actually Joe Alaskey... He played Uncle Beano on "Out Of This World" and voiced Plucky Duck on Tiny Toons

  • USA premiered COuch POtatoes reruns the Monday after it ended its syndicated run, ditto WIpeout and Davidson Hollywood Squares(9/11/89 they all debuted). Couch Potatoes ran in reruns on USA until 3/23/90. The reruns were promoted when Marc was on the Pat Sajak Show and WIn Lose or Draw(Robb Weller version) around that time. Marc hosted two syndicated game shows simultaneously in SPring 1989, this show and SUper Sloppy Double Dare.

  • I find Rebecca Arthur to be very good at "Super Password" as well as "Couch Potatoes."

  • And befofe Couch Potatoes, Saban previously produced I'm Telling for NBC.

  • 1982 is when kid icarus came out

  • omg these people didn't know anything about Perfect Strangers!!!! how bad!! I would've won that contest!!!!

  • He looks a little like John "Tiny" Hurley from Fun House...
