Engage in marriage; because this is the tradition of the Prophet (saw) of Allah.and Women are like flowers. They should be treated gently, kindly, and with affection.

(quran)He created for you mates from among yourselves, that ye may dwell in tranquillity with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts) . . . " (Holy Quran 30:21, Yusuf Ali Translation).

In the Qur'an, the marriage relationship is described as one with "tranquility," "love" and "mercy." Elsewhere in the Qur'an, husband and wife are described as "garments" for each other (2:187). Garments offer protection, comfort, modesty, and warmth. Above all, the Qur'an describes that the best garment is the "garment of God-consciousness" (7:26).


And among His Signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves that you may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts). Verily in that are Signs for those who reflect" (30: 21).

which kinda makes sense since in islam women r supposed to b all covered (so called modesty) and their role is basically to b housewives. also, the purpose of life in islam is to worship God, and ur not rly supposed to enjoy this life cuz supposedly u'll b rewarded in the afterlife. it's like we're the guinea pigs of the universe. i know the theory, but i don't believe in that. whoever wants to believe that and live that way..that's fine, to each their own. whatever makes ppl happy :)

@spaztikbabe hmm, i see. but we're in the 21st century now and i agree with u that music can make ppl move in certain ways that are seen as sexual, however, it's ppl's choice. dancing is one of the most fun things there is, i'm a dancer myself (i do ballroom and latin dancing) and love every minute of it, would never give it up. it makes me happy and it's a great way to meet ppl and get exercise, not to mention that ppl love it, it's appreciated. it's a form of art but islam doesn't embrace it.

@soa0x because music can be beautiful and inspiring, and awake feelings in us that very few other things can. and well..if God created everything else, then it must've created music as well no? i personally don't rly believe in the theory of intelligent design..but u know..for the ppl that do. anyway, whatever the case, i think it's a shame to deprive ourselves of somethin so beautiful and uplifting as music often is.
