Hay bro Im a retired Firemen with a water truck. Sent you a vid. The truck is a 89 Ford with a Cummins eng (big cam). Im not much of a engine guy though. Do you know if this eng would has a clutch master cylnder?? It is hard to depress clutch..

This is a whole new area I'm just getting into. There's a lot to learn and videos like this are a great help, not to mention very enjoyable to watch. Before seeing this, I'd never heard anything like the sound of that 6-71, so I went off to find out as much as I could. Really appreciate the leads. I read somewhere that the 6-71 couldn't be naturally aspirated, but here you say it is. Did I just find bad information?

The old Detroits are 2 stroke and require having a blower/supercharger to run. Any 4 stroke diesel is called naturally aspirated when there is no turbo, so in some circles the term naturally aspirated is still applied to the old Detroits rather than "non-turbo" knowing that it's a given that they must be supercharged or it will never run.
