"Good Old America" from the jewelbeat website.

  • This is a whole new area I'm just getting into. There's a lot to learn and videos like this are a great help, not to mention very enjoyable to watch. Before seeing this, I'd never heard anything like the sound of that 6-71, so I went off to find out as much as I could. Really appreciate the leads. I read somewhere that the 6-71 couldn't be naturally aspirated, but here you say it is. Did I just find bad information?

  • @HD41117

The old Detroits are 2 stroke and require having a blower/supercharger to run. Any 4 stroke diesel is called naturally aspirated when there is no turbo, so in some circles the term naturally aspirated is still applied to the old Detroits rather than "non-turbo" knowing that it's a given that they must be supercharged or it will never run.

  • Great video Jeff glad to hear some new tunes as well. Keep up the good work you do.

Ah! You noticed... Found a music library for 99 cent per download. Takes hours to listen through it all, though.
