The Advantage's goal is to recreate retro video game music with a four person band to the best of their ability, and they do this amazingly. They don't do "heavy metal remix" type stuff which is why I like them, they stick to how the song originally was.

@wboone3 I hate to burst your bubble, but Powerglove is un-dynamic, over-compressed SHITE. Technically their performance is very good, but their recording/mastering is absolute fucking rubbish. Anybody can play something FAST and make it as loud as possible. The Advantage use DYNAMICS. That takes talent.

you guys are jumping on a 3 year old comment. -_- besides, these guys have a particular flare, they play the original theme clean at least once so you get the idea, but they like to play very broken rhythm and interpretive stuff too. and its HARD to play broken rhythm on purpose.
I would pay money to see these guys live if they could play for a full hour.

Give me a fucking break. These guys are the best video game cover bands out there! Have you listened to The Mini-bosses or Neskimos? They are pretty good but they are sloppy as hell. These guys are fucking spot on for every note. Why don't you get the fucking game and play it? Then maybe you would realize how much of a fucking idiot you are for making that post. Obviously you have no idea what you are talking about.
