No, my mum didn't because we couldn't afford the movie channels. But my grandparents used to get it because they had a movie channels subscription with the local cable company.

I stand corrected! DisneychannelUK is only available on astra2d satellite which covers the UK and part of NW Europe.

Can't get the UK version of the Disney Channel officially outside the UK;only through Skydigital with a UK address then take the reception equipment into Europe(you may need a bigger dish tho' and some careful alignment as Disney Channel UK uses the Astra 2 north beam which covers mainly northern europe with a sidelobe mainly to Western Greece!)
