Stefan Mayr - Bluff

The short "BLUFF" tells about two mice which plan to trick the town's cat in a poker game. Due to a little accident however they rather get in trouble than succeeding with their plan.

I'm studying Digital Film Design at the Mediadesign Hochschule in Berlin/Germany since October 2009. In order to finish the second term we had to manage a 3D animated Short solo-project..

Bluff was nominated for a Suzanne Award at the Blender Conference festival 2010.

As most people here already pointed out, this animation should run smoother and the whole thing ought to be a bit faster paced. Apart from that, great job! I especially like the high quality of the textures and the mice. Well done!

Tech stuff was great! Animation had its ups and downs. The story was the weakest, left me totally confused. Why are rats quadrupeds and the cat a biped? What would the cat want to play cards with a dog?

The sets were amazing! I know there was a ton of hard work put into this! A lot of great work.

you could have saved alot of effort and time if you didn't make the cat blink cuz you know they don't blink lol but expressions were awesome
