No Stranger To The Blues by the b.a.s.i.c band

A b.a.s.i.c. band original song. Like the saying goes "A little rain must fall into everyone's life". It rains on the just as well as the unjust. We all suffer. Jesus is no stranger to the suffering. He went through alot more than we could ever imagine. He suffered immeasurably for our sins. He knows what it is like to be abused and hurting. When we have rain and storms in our lives, we can persevere through song. Praising God when life is good is pretty easy. Praising God when life becomes unbearable is necessary, if we want to rise above and benefit from it. We all have our cross to bear. I know from experience that not praising God will only add to the suffering. It is hard, but it is the right thing to do.

Don't you ever change this song arrangement, Tracy. It's perfect just the way it is. I know you have sometimes updated some of your bands older recordings, but, I like this one as is. This is one of the songs I first heard b.a.s.i.c. band do and I remember saying to you that, it reminds me , so much, of the material "Delaney & Bonnie" used to perform. Well, dear friend, it still holds true in my mind. Keep on straight ahead with the Lord, dear Tracy.
