I will demonstrate the brick stitch or as some call it, the chevron stitch. We will make earrings by decreasing the rows thus creating triangles that will be sewn together and then add Swarovski Briolette dangle to the bottom.

  • Much easier way of doing this shaped earring. once you're done half of the diamond, weave your thread back up to the first bead you started with in your foundation row, and decrease and follow the pattern like you already did. You won't have to deal with sewing two halves together and there won't be a crease.

  • Hi, great video but I was wondering if you have any video showing how to make the Apache Apache Whispers Native American Earrings

  • Very nice tut. thanks so much. I love to watch you and all from Aunties. I learn so much. But I really like the comments on just doing the same thing on the other side instead of zipping. I wonder if I can do the same with a pair of peyote that I have have done and have to zip together ? Any comments? I see this was made along time ago.

  • i like these earrings! if you love fashinable earrings check out the donnaliza collection - it's not expensive and looks great! Just search donnaliza on google and youll find it.

  • Yeah me too, that's how I do it in all in one. Perhaps she's doing it that way because of the shape of the beads.

Anyway it's always nice to learn different ways of doing the same thing.

    Thanks Karla.

  • Yeah, this is what I always do too. Simpler than sewing two halves together, that's for sure.
