I see nothing at 6:03. But if you do, it's likely foam popping off. That is normal for all shuttle launches and is commonly seeing around that time of the ascent as the fuel levels for the tank are depleted and the tank expands.
What you're seeing at 9:42 is ice being ejected from the engine bells on Atlantis. The change in direction is caused by the reaction control system jets firing to move the orbiter away from the tank. This is also normal for shuttle launches.

@Daywalkertwentyseven That is incorrect. Each orbiter was designed to fly 100 missions. Atlantis flew 33, meaning she's barely reached 1/3 of her design life. The shuttle program was scheduled to last until 2020 when Columbia was lost. That's when Bush panicked and said the program would end ten years early.

@Trex1094 Endeavour's days are numbered as well

@Daywalkertwentyseven Well Endeavour is far younger
@peejaa Atlantis is 25 years old. It was never meant to be used as long as it has, it's surpassed it's life expectancy.
FYI: this was all determined long before Obama was ever sworn in.
