I see a real resemblence to that video on Dr. Phil where that kid slaps his mother... This kid will do the same when he turns 10... Dumb ass mother trying to reason with a little kid... Take charge, not listen to demands.

@alrune8 Yes if it happens all the time the kid is in need of SOME punishment, that's for sure.

But if the adults punishes the child properly the first time it happens in a proper way, it probably won't happen again.

@alrune8 I agree with the parent thing. A kid can't be born spoiled. But who knows, maybe this was a one time thing. After all I don't agree with belting a kid for throwing a fit in a blue moon when they are cranky or bored or hungry. A good parent would know when it's okay to punish their kid or not. Like if he wasn't hurting her she shouldn't throw him on the ground or beat him in harmful areas. Just make him take a nap and make him stay in his room and come out later to apologize would work.

@jerryskeeters Throwing a fit can happen, but when you do it whenever you don't get your way and demand your parents to obey you, that's pretty much the definition of a brat in need of a good, healthy slap across the face.

I understand it can hurt well-behaved, respectful youngsters when we who are older than you say that your generation is spoiled rotten but the problem is that you're only a few good apples in a sack of rotten ones.

And you're not to blame, parents are.

@alrune8 Look, I'm sorry for losing my temper but it hurts me when people tell me that this generation is entirely spoiled. Not all kids are like that. Smug and all. My friends have never behaved like that. When my friend's brother tried to pull a stunt like this he got kicked out of the house for half an hour. And I certainly never behaved like that. People have to respect each other no matter the age. And kids can lose respect for adults very quickly. Throwing a fit does not make you a brat.
