To Begin with I Didnt Say They Were "HERO'S!". What I Insinuated was That The 13 Innocent People May NOt Have All Been Killed BY B&C! @whazzuphere In real life, Clyde Barrow's whole gang was only responsible for 13 murders total, one of which was a prison inmate who raped Clyde and several of the smaller prisoners, 2 were prisoners turned guards who brutalized the prisoners, and most of the rest were cops who were automatically seen as the enemy, not really a lot of 'unarmed civilians' there.

@uranorexic And I think you seriously need to switch to decaf. Bonnie and Clyde weren't Hitler, they weren't much different from several other people who also robbed banks and killed people during the Depression; that's where part of the problem lies, so many of them had the same M.O.s and did the same things so it's actually hard to tell who did what jobs and who got what money and who killed who, but Bonnie and Clyde are the most remembered of them all, doesn't mean they were the worst.

@uranorexic 10 innocent people, which yes is still awful, but when they kidnapped the mortician who later embalmed them, and his girlfriend, Clyde could've killed them too, instead when he found out they didn't have any money, he gave them $5 to get back home on and let them go. And, Clyde once wrote a letter exonerating a man who was going to be executed for one of Clyde's murders, and went as far as dipping his hands in oil to supply the fingerprints to prove it so the man wouldn't die.

@uranorexic How many songs are there about Jesse James? He killed people, and Billy the Kid, he killed in self defense but he's still gone down in music history, hell, there's even a song about Lizzie Borden who hacked her parents to death with an axe until their skulls caved in. Besides, Bonnie never killed anybody, and Clyde may have killed but he wasn't all evil either.

@LisaNicoleLopes AND what's the greatest irony is Bonnie has always been called a killer but SHE never killed ANYBODY! She was their getaway driver originally and she smuggled a gun to Clyde when he was in prison, but it was only the men of the Barrow gang who ever killed anybody.

@brittrobert1 That may be. But you'll recall in the movie they 'kidnap' a couple and drive around with them for a few hours. In real life the man was the mortician who later embalmed Bonnie and Clyde, their friend W.D. Jones took the couple's car, and after driving around with them, Clyde made them get out of the car and asked them how much money they had, the man said he had 25 cents, so Clyde gave them $5 to get back home on or to have somebody come and take them home.
