EdenVSVolar - International Love Event Extended Promo [HD]

A friend of mine asked me to help create a promo video for an end of the year clubbing event called, International Love, so I thought I'd have a go at it since it sounded fun and that I'd also get stuff out of it lol.

I directed, shot and edited the video. It was shot within a few days at Sydney, Darling Harbour, the CBD (Central Business District) and at the Eden Club at Civic Hotel.

I wasn't given any proper specifics on how long the video had to be or if it needed any specific details etc. and this was the result. Once I was told that it had to be shortened to 1 minute and had to contain heaps of flashy text, the video below came into fruition lol:

I much prefer the original extended version as I am not particularly a fan of "in your face" type ads or promos lol. Either way, it was a fun experience so I guess I can't complain...

The first scene with the dialogue was all made up on the spot. You can tell by the amazing acting.

Also please excuse the horrible lip syncing. My friend didn't learn the lyrics... LOL

Regarding AMVs, don't worry I haven't quit making them. I really do want to edit and make one but as most know, I only like to make something if I feel it's of good quality or if I have a solid concept or story to go with.

Looking good. I really should upgrade from my 550D to either a 60D or Mk II...

I liked most of the editing, felt like the pacing could had been slightly quicker, but other than that really well-presented and neatly executed! The lip-syncing part looked a bit silly though :p

But overall good job, Shin.

Yeah the lip-syncing was fail haha, my friend didn't bother to learn the lyrics (besides the chorus) so it's pretty much just lipflap lol.
