hey bro i got a quik question? where your leaf spring craking? because on my zr2 s10 pick up i hear craking and i ben trying to find out if i need new bushings or a new set of leaf springs what do you think is the problem

@sl1ck213 honestly the only reason that I had to do this was because the the leaf spring hanger rotted and broke. The 2nd leaf was cracked so i went ahead and fixed it. When I went to mount the whole spring setup I then noticed that the main spring on the passengers side was cracked where it makes the loop, so I just went and bought a new set.
But mine didnt make any cracking noise, if I were you i would jack it up to where you could see if there maybe some play in it. Let me if this helps

@sl1ck213 hey i have a 98 S10 also, the springs on it are actually bent backwards. It might be in your rearend if it is making a clunking noise, make sure you check your u joints too.

@91DAintegraB20 well I bought a piece of ready bolt 7/16 or 1/2 inch can't remember exactly, four nuts and some oversized washers. A grinder with a cutoff wheel, and an electric impact.
