Sonny Terry, harmonica
Brownie McGhee, guitar
Lightnin' Hopkins, guitar

Recordingdate : Mid- or late sixties.

Sonny Terry ( Sanford Terrell ), blind since 1924, was associated with Blind Boy Fuller and recorded with him in 1937. In April 1939 he met Brownie McGhee ( Walter Brown McGhee )in NYC.
Thereafter they worked together their entire life. The first recording together was in May 1942.

Note :American Folk Blues Festivals were common in Europe in the sixties. A revival of the Blues. The Bluesmen came to our concerthouses/stages and we just loved them.

This is a take from just such a concert.

Enjoy !
