wow everyone thinks there is only one way to do things. (AKA there way) i believe there are many ways to make coffee. some are better than others, but why do things b/c someone said this is the way things have to be done? coffee is diverse. starbucks makes good coffee, but who let them make the rules? if you love coffee, seek the adventure of the drink. it's a life long journey hop on it's is a fun ride!

Yeah... This is definitely not a Caramel Macchiato. At Starbucks, a Grande drink has 2 pumps of vanilla. Then you stream the milk to get an inch of foam, not two, and free pour it into the cup. DO NOT hit pitcher on counter as it will separate the foam. Also, NEVER add hot milk into a cup that had cold milk. Brew the espresso and "mark" the macchiato with it. Then you swirl, zig zag left and right, then up and down the caramel sauce. NO WHIP! And you don't mix the vanilla and milk with a spoon!
