I do the same thing with my moras. I use a 4" ceramic rod though. It gives the edge a nice "toothiness".That is great for carving,

i know how you can have coffee without getting grounds in it and its a little easier as well.

@secretsquirrell13 I could do lots of things but this is what I like, it is real camp coffee. and the original way to make it.

@SkogKniv Not to sound dumb, but I've tried cooking coofee in a old perk camping and it stinks, how and what r you doing with that kettle, maybe I'll go that way after I try making a Kuksa love the videos,

@Rowjr560 I make simple camp coffee, or also called cowboy coffee. Its normal coffee grounds. Simmer until the coffee grounds fall to the bottom of the kettle. Then you know its done. The tricky part is not using to little or too much coffee. The amount will depend on your kettle. It will take some trial and error.
