Pancha Karma at the California College of Ayurveda

Here at the California College of Ayurveda, we offer a total Healing Experience. Patients tell us that our programs to restore balance to the body and mind are one of the most powerful experiences they have while under our care, and sometimes even in their lives. Your Practitioner will make the determination as to whether you will be prescribed a "Rejuvenation Healing Experience" or a "Pancha Karma Healing Experience". Three specific treatments are usually part of both "Experiences", one: a blissful oil massage (abhyanga) provided by one or two practitioners at a time, two: warm herbal oil poured in a continuous stream over the forehead (shirodhara), three: a relaxing herbal steam bath (svedana). When all three of these therapies are combined, it is called a "Bliss Therapy" which was named by Dr. Marc Halpern, the founder and director of The California College of Ayurveda.

i wish i could have these treatments for a whole month. The Abhyanga massage looked wonderful, the girls were so in synch. Wished I lived right around the corner, I would volunteer daily!
