It just shows to go you that the enjoyment of a sound is far more than the specs.

ditch all 3 and get a Sony :))

The Marantz is just as good as the Onkyo (really no difference), but the Onkyo has a tape monitor feature wich the Marantz receiver is missing. So that's why I'm using the Onkyo. Otherwise I would use the Marantz receiver.

I like this Amp, Sounds pretty good in my System. btw: are you able to repair a KA 660 that doesnt work properly?

@Elnufo
I probably could but only if I actually have it right here in front of me.

could also be a wrong match with your speakers.
i would suggest trying some other speakers with that amplifier...maybe not in your main stereo system, buy anyway...
not all amplifiers match properly with all speakers. you have to listen and compare which combinations give the best sound ;-)

I'm sure the amp will sound great with the right kind of speakers. So far I tried one other pair of speakers, but that was absulutely awful... very very tinny sound, and those speakers normally don't sound like that. I think I will try some more speakers as well, maybe I can find a proper pair :)
