Abused pit bull pup could walk in weeks

IT'S ONLY BEEN TWO WEEKS SINCE 3-MONTH PUP OLD HAZEL HOPE WAS FOUND BROKEN... BEATEN AND LEFT FOR DEAD.

Doctor holly brophy at the bel air pet clinic in mount zion says hazel hope has enough hardware in her legs right now...To set off a metal detector...
But she's making great progress.
In a few weeks, she'll be able to walk on her own.
(nats-whistles hey hazel..) It's been just over two weeks since the 3-month-old pit bull pup named hazel hope came to doctor holly brophy.
This is actually her first initial x-ray......(pics of her x-rays) Our fracture site was right there..
She's had three broken legs... Her was body riddled with infections...But now...
Most of those things we don't have to worry about at all...And it's just healing time and getting her rehabbed until she can walk again.
Dr. Brophy says hazel is well on her way to a full recovery. But fundraising for the dog has caused the sheriff to step in to protect the people.
Whenever the verterinarian came forward and said look, this is what we raised we're good right here...That's whenever we stepped in to assist in reference to making sure there weren't people taking advantage of the situation.
It's caused an outcry online about where hazel will go once she's healed.
(Su) Dr. Brophy says hazel hope is already on her way to walking again...Sheriff schneider says with the doctor's help, those hazel eyes won't ever have to see a shelter wall.
(Doc) There is a list of people that are willing to adopt her from the ceiling to the floor...I don't think she'll ever see shelter walls.
Dr. Brophy says...Through two surgeries and physical rehab...The pit bull pup has shown her... Hope lives on.
She's a little trooper...She really is...
About 9-thousand dollars were raised from the community to pay for the pup's medical costs...
Sheriff schneider says his department is activly investigating the animal cruelty case hazel's condition brought to light.
