FastMac TruePower iV External Battery for iPhone 3G/3GS (FastMac are THIEVES!)

"DON'T BUY" this battery pack! I bought 2 of them and both are damage. The customer service for FastMac is terrible. They DO NOT respond back to you. Finally, I got a respond back from this lady "Darlene Conners" after 20 emails. She told me to return it, so I did. One month passed and I still did not see no refund on my Visa. I emailed them again no respond. So they pretty much robbed me with my $231 and the 2 items I returned. Since now I still have no response from them. If you guys have any ideas or suggestions if I can still get my money back please leave a comment. I don't want anyone to go through what I went through by getting SCAMMED TWICE.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM FASTMAC, THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!

Wish I'd seen this video before I bought from Fastmac. I paid via Paypal, the receipt says the payment has been made to Allmac (allmac@aol.com; non-existent email, bounces back). Fastmac have not returned any of my emails, SMS or phone calls (from the UK). Called Allmac who directed me to Fastmac. I will call Allmac again today then raise a dispute with Paypal but, from reading all this, I doubt I'll get the product or a refund without a lengthy fight. Who is the CEO of Fastmac?

@jacnmrb talk to your bank and explain to them the situation. show them all your receipt and they will dispute it. thats how i got my money back

@noxdoubtgirl LOL you guys love to asume things about I didnt fully charge the battery thats why its acting like this, I didnt bothering calling them on the phone and so on. I did EVERYTHING!

from what i can tell from the video - the iv is NOT charged up. I had purchased mine 3 months ago and it was also discharged. When speaking with Fastmac and the description of the problem - i was advised that it needed a full charge before use.

So I would suggest - giving your IV a full charge PRIOR to posting this on youtube

@appledoctor2010 The device starts acting up when its down to the red light. That should not happen. I have tried so many different of external battery for the iPhone and none of them does this. I tried the Mophie Juice Pack and the Mophie Juice Pack Air and all of them are working perfectly fine.

That happens to mine when it's not charged all the way charge it up or it's not getting the charge to the backup
