Most people in NYC live only about 50 miles from the heart of Long Island. Queens and Brooklyn are ON the island. And they act like they don't know where it is? These people are just trying to seem cool and so urban that they never even heard of LI. You idiots...ever see the 495 LONG ISLAND signs all over NYC? That's because we are your damn neighbors. At least 25% of the people on LI work in the city too. Most of the people you see walking around the city aren't even from there. Idiots.
