I grew up in Barryton and then went to High School in Baldwin, because the Barryton school didn't have no stairs to go up to the high school. Only had a roof up there. Anyways, I got my PhD at Fairest university as a I doctor and now I fix I's for the U.S. Air Forts up here in Negaunee. Glad I larnt lots of manners wehn I was a TKE there so when I moved to this here city I new how to get along.

I love this video...i love this town...sure i might complain about it from now and then, but i have come to realize that it is the things i complain about that keep this city so entertaining to me.... we have ignorant urban cowboys that think just because you own a truck its ok to park at rite aid all night and call each other hicks, then we have the college kids that think they run this town....i love this city

As a Ferris alum who loves Big Rapids and lived there all year round, I watched the economic cycle ebb and flow as college students left for the summer and return in the fall. For better or worse, that town is dependent on Ferris and its students. What would be the economic drive of Big Rapids if Ferris wasn't there?
