  • All chickens do this. Chicken's eyes barely move, so their head must remain stationary to remain focused on whatever they are looking at.

  • Are you to chicken to do the robot dance?

  • This was in my recommended section of the youtube homepage . . . .

  • All this needs is a dub step song in the back and u got techno chicken

  • @spawn1082 To my knowledge they do this because they have poor depth vision. When a chicken is moving they constantly hold their head stationary (it's not moving backwards as most people think) so they can better observe their surroundings for predators etc. This is alot harder when your head is constantly on the move. You may have noticed that their are moving their head with "shocks" too when they are standing still, which is because they can more easily move their head than their eyes.

  • that is pretty cool

  • how about cutting it off? will it float on mid-air?

  • xD ahahhaahhah its awsome and funny!ahahhahah!

  • chickens are gyro-stabilized

  • owl`s do this aswel
