Are you mentally stable, davis? At the very least, you have no perspective: sure the superdelagate system is dumb. Not because it's a "sham", but because superdelagates have a very strong incentive to vote with their constituents, since they're almost all elected officials, who want to stay that way. So the superdelagate system isn't very effective at making sure a nut-job is nominated, which is supposedly why it was invented. It's simply not that big of a deal.

I didn't imply you ridiculed the video, what I was referring to was to was the whole remark about 'waving a banner with a large group of lesbians,' denoting protest. Which seemed a tad inappropriate, living in such times where protest will likely be a useful tool in the near future.

Isnt this issue the same when it comes to voting for the president?

If I am not mistaken, the votes of the 538 members of the electoral college basically determine who the president for USA is going to be.
