  • Tough thing with graphene is actually growing the stuff defect-free. I grow it as an undergrad researcher, and there's still a lot of issues we are ironing out with our setup. Oh, and once you grow it, how do you transfer a thin atomic layer to another surface without tearing? Yup, that's a tough one too. Yes, graphene is strong, but only when it's stretched in horizontal directions. Poking through it takes no effort whatsoever.

  • Ummm military use ...

  • But will it blend?

  • what about nokia 3310 ?

  • minecraft!!!!

  • Skyscrapers with graphene columns could extend tens of miles into space. Or spacescrapers. You know, use graphene for the space elevator. I wanna see some sizable structures built.

  • OMG. Flat screen tv's! i can't wait till those come out!
