Tried this recipe and it was every shade of wrong, canned apple filling ruined the texture, the sickly sweet icing barely had any taste, and don't even get me started with the seeds and acorn, toasted pecans would've been infinitely better. The last thing I would want to see on this diabetic train wreck is 7 massive wax sticks stuck right on top of it, although I wouldn't mind blowing out the candles and then silently wishing this cake shall never come anywhere near my mouth as long as i live.

Those are not acorns, those are corn nuts. Someone who is paid to be on a channel dedicated to food, unironically put corn nuts on a cake.

How exactly did Sandra Lee end up on the Food Network? I'm not saying this to be rude to her. Okay maybe a little bit but I honestly don't understand how someone who uses a pre-made store bought cake, frosting from a can, pie filling from a can and calls corn nuts acorns got on the Food Network. It just confuses me.

I understand some ingredients can be helpful canned, but literally everything she uses is store-bought or canned. That's not coking, that's like making a pb&j sandwich.
