when i was little the music leaving the theater was so scary to me at the time. dinosaur room was favorite everything else in that place was boring beside the bones and stuff
Oh what an age we live in when obscure gems from my childhood are delivered to me on the internet for free :)
I saw this film for the first time when I was six years old. My parents brought me to the Smithsonian and (kudos to them) they sat patiently while I watched it loop over and over. Afterward, they couldn't shut me up about it all day.
CHON CHON! This was the requisite first stop every time we went to the Museum -- even before the Discovery Room, giant squid, snake-worshipping Hopi, and of course the mummies. Thanks!
Besides the lack of commentary, which is available in the lower quality video, this video is perfect. In fact, the lack of commentary allows the song to be better heard, especially at 2:27 when the flute-like instrument begins. I have one question though, where did you get this video? I have asked for years in and at several places in the Natural History Museum for a purchasable copy, but have never been able to get far.

I'm so glad you posted this!! I stopped in to try to watch it two or three times this summer, and it wasn't on - I hope that's temporary!
